Design

The choreography is settled before the group walks into the hall

On paper the distances are wrong — by a factor of two, sometimes three. So you draw figures that do not fit, and you find out in the hall. It does not take thirty people for that: at three performers the scale is already wrong.

Your stage, at its real size

In your own unit of length, and all to scale: a six-metre circle takes up six metres, and the gap between two lines is the one you will have. A pattern never takes more people than its length allows.
Scenes sit on the music

A scene is a freeze-frame at a precise moment, set to the hundredth of a second, in bars and in time. Load your music, drop your scenes where they fall.
Transitions are animated, and slowed down

StageFlow works out the moves from one scene to the next and plays them to the music. At 50 %, a tight crossing becomes readable: you finally see who passes in front of whom.

Getting started

Your paper drafts go into StageFlow.

Nothing is retyped. Photograph a plan, drop it into the application: the assistant proposes its patterns and its spots — on a new scene, or on an existing one that it adjusts. A sketch with names or initials on it? It reads the names and puts each person in the right place. You can also describe a scene in plain English — “a circle of eight in the middle, two lines of three either side” — or draw it freehand.

A first-draft assistant, never an approval: everything can be undone. It needs an AI key, which the club can provide for everyone.

Everyone arrives knowing what to do

Made of your own instructions — how the group arrives, what it does, how it moves on — written once, reused everywhere.

Printable and shareable. An unchanged instruction is not reprinted over and over.

It answers the question you get at every session: “and me, what am I doing at that point?”

The animation exports as a single page that opens with a double-click, music included, on a computer as on a phone, with nothing to install. Focus comes with it.
